Branding: Don't @ me Podcast

Don’t @ Me is a podcast by best friends Belle Maartensz (Founder of Avant Studio) and Sophie Hood (Founder of Seoul Tonic), diving into candid conversations around business, boundaries, and building a brand. Bold, honest, and unfiltered, it sets out to explore the raw realities of modern entrepreneurship.

About the project:

This project marked my first lead role in graphic design and branding—a major milestone in my creative journey. I was brought on to shape the visual identity of the podcast, from hand-drawing the logo to developing the colour palette and building out the social strategy. Having the trust and freedom to take full creative direction was not only a challenge I was ready for, but one I truly relished.

My intention was to create a brand that felt as unapologetic and real as the conversations within the podcast. The hand-drawn logo adds a sense of personality and imperfection—something real and human—while the cobalt and champagne palette balances boldness with a touch of elegance. Every design choice was made to visually express the energy, chemistry, and mission of Belle and Sophie’s vision.

What I learned during this project went far beyond technical design. I deepened my understanding of how branding can communicate a feeling, a tone, and a point of view. Most importantly, it sparked a real love for creative freedom—having space to experiment, be playful, and trust my instincts. It was a defining experience that reinforced my passion for branding and the power of thoughtful, intentional design.
